The charcoal kiln UMT-5v1 differs from the UMT 5 in the volume of drying chambers.
Charcoal kiln UMT 5v1 is an enlarged version of UMT 5.
It consists of the charcoal kiln and two drying chambers. The excess pyrolysis gas released during the pyrolysis of wood is directed to the fireboxes of these drying chambers. The wood is dried at the temperature of 150-180 ° C, this can significantly reduce its moisture content in 18-24 hours. As a result, the cycle (time from loading to unloading from the retort) of charcoal production is 8-10 hours. Charcoal output from each tank is 620-650 kg. Due to this, the productivity of UMT 5 is-v1 is 85-100 tons of charcoal per month. The power of the drying chambers allows you to dry wood not only for the production of charcoal, but also for other purposes. But that's not all. The design of UMT 5v1 allows, in addition to drying chambers, to build in a boiler for producing hot water with a capacity of 600-800 kW
